Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh invites you to discover what plant science is all about, different career opportunities available, and the vital role plant scientists play. This free online course is ideal for secondary school pupils, school leavers, young adults and anyone curious! 

 

Through a mix of interactive activities this course is your space to discover, explore and reflect if plant science is a career area for you. You'll also get the inside scoop as plant scientists at the Botanics share their experiences and insights directly with you! We will dig into questions such as:

  • What is plant science?
  • What science happens in our Botanic Garden?
  • What is it like to be a plant scientist and is it for me?
  • What are the next steps for growing a career in plant science?
