Work Inspiration and Preparation Provided by National Space Academy

S5 Careers Conference

9.00am - 3.00pm

 

This Careers Conference is a part of the Space to Learn project which is being ran by the National Space Academy, with funding from UK Space Agency. It is designed to offer opportunity to students for them to further understand the Space Sector, and STEM on a whole. 

 

During the day the students will have the opportunity to:

  • Meet local STEM and Space businesses.
  • Hear inspiring talks from individuals who work within the Space Sector, including a Keynote speech from Skyrora.
  • Learn the different career routes there are within the STEM workforce. 
  • Get hands on with a Space themed workshop.
  • Take part in a competition that will challenge students and encourage them to talk with local industries.

 

In addition to the FREE event we are also offering:

 

  • Travel Bursaries for Coaches (Up to £300 for 30 students)
  • Teacher Cover Cost Bursaries (Up to £200 per teacher)
