SSERC invites 5 secondary teachers to apply for an industry placement at CPI in MMIC, Paisley. Whilst any teacher of STEM can apply, the placement is ideal for biology and chemistry teachers who are interested learning more about relevant workplaces, the practical skills required, careers pathways and overall developing careers education knowledge to help inspire and support their learners. The placement is two days long and will require you to be away from school at the placement providers location all day.
Placements are being offered at CPI’s Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre
in Paisley, a state-of-the-art facility which delivers innovative technologies to reduce
the cost and environmental impact of medicines manufacturing. The experience will
offer insights into the world of work within a medicines manufacturing organisation.
