Sustainable Futures Career Talks

Work Inspiration and Preparation Provided by Founders4Schools

Host your own Sustainability Event
Young people are motivated to create solutions to the environmental crisis but may lack the skills to action this. The Green Economy has been identified as a major area of job growth in the coming years so young people should consider this area as a career pathway.

What is a Sustainability Event?
Visit https://www.founders4schools.org.uk/educators/sustainability/ to invite professionals in sustainability, to raise awareness of sustainable careers, and the importance of sustainable skills for their future and the planet.

What is the impact of a Sustainability Event?
It provides pupils with an understanding of the opportunities available to them if working in sustainability.  Young people will learn about the wide range of careers in sustainability, not just ‘green careers’ and will feel enthused and educated about their next steps.

This is part of the Sustainable Futures programme
