We invite pupils from across Scotland in S4, S5 and S6 to attend four free virtual Medical Research Scotland Academy sessions on Friday mornings in March 2024, taking place on 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd March from 10am – 10:50am.
The interactive learning series aims to give pupils of all abilities the opportunity to hear directly from medical researchers and scientists, taking a deeper look into what their work involves. Your pupils will also learn tips on getting into university and how they can start their own career in this important industry to support medical breakthroughs.
This year’s MRS Academy session topics include:
· How vaccines change the world
· Making medicine
· The power of AI in medical research
· Your future in medical research
For schools unable to stream the sessions live, there will be an on-demand catch-up service available on YouTube and Vimeo.
