Charity and Voluntary Sector Experience

Work Inspiration and Preparation Provided by Springpod

You may have done charity work of some kind, perhaps something like collecting things for those in need through your school. But did you know there are official career paths involved in working with a registered charity? In this programme, you’ll discover which roles are available in charity and what skills and values you’ll need to succeed in them.  You’ll dive right into the world of charity organisations through quizzes, activities and interactive content.

What’s Included:

In this virtual experience programme, you will explore such aspects of working in charity as volunteer management, fundraising, and policy development. After building a foundational knowledge of the various sectors, you’ll discover if any of the roles within them are right for you. You’ll hear from professionals in the industry and complete projects and self-assessments to cement your understanding of the industry, finishing the programme with a downloadable certificate.
