Abi is NatureScot’s Biodiversity and Climate Change Engagement Officer. Like many of her younger colleagues, she started at NatureScot as a graduate placement working in the Placemaking Team to bring nature to our towns and cities. Now, she focuses on making sure they and others make the link between the biodiversity crisis and climate emergency with a particular aim to increase inclusion of young people in environmental decision-making and co-design. Here she shares more information about her role and her pathway into her job.
