DYW Live: Careersense Dream Bigger

Work Inspiration and Preparation Provided by Royal Bank of Scotland

CareerSense Dream Bigger is focused on developing transferable skills in 16–18-year-olds, introducing entrepreneurship as a very real career pathway for young people.

It’s free, easy-to-deliver and can be run at a time that suits you. The programme consists of a one-hour, Royal Bank of Scotland employee Ambassador supported workshop, and 3x 20-minute 'Plug and Play' lessons.

The workshop supports the following:

  • Skills for learning, skills for life and skills for work
  • Provide opportunities for learners to think and act in enterprising ways
  • Provide a clear focus on core and employability skills, and the ability to transfer these to different contexts, in particular, the world of work
  • Promote positive attitudes
  • Provide opportunities for learners to develop skills such as problem solving, decision making and evaluating risks
  • Provide entrepreneurial experiences
