The Big Spin Business Challenge

Work Inspiration and Preparation Provided by Sustrans Scotland

The Big Spin Business Challenge, run by Sustrans Scotland, sets S2/3 students a creative brief: to research, develop, and pitch a business idea that encourages people to get about in more active ways, such as walking, cycling, or wheeling.
In teams, students learn what goes into developing a business idea in a fun and practical way.

The first 20 classes who sign up to take part this year are also eligible to receive funding which can be used to provide prizes for groups who have put together an excellent business pitch.

The course is free, and schools who sign up for the challenge will receive login details to access the full range of resources, including lesson plans, PowerPoints, and further resources.

For more information on how to sign up, or for any other queries please email bigspin@sustrans.org.uk.
