Every year we invite employers to our school to give a hands on experience of their industry to small groups of S3 pupils (max 20). Pupils will choose two sessions that they have a bit of an interest in and will go to a 50 minute session and find out more about them and hopefully take part in an activity that will be inspiring for them.
In the past week have had: fire service, hairdressers, childcare, vets and police to name a few. It would be great to have a bigger selection for pupils and to give them the opportunity to find out first hand from those doing specific jobs.
