Future Vets Scotland Information Event

Work Inspiration and Preparation Provided by Future Vets Scotland

This event is for any S1-S6 school pupil who is interested in veterinary medicine or veterinary nursing it includes talks from vets at different stages of their careers, a vet nurse and universities admissions. Talks from world renkowned equine vets, recent graduates and admissions staff will provide insight into many aspects of the jounrey to becoming a vet. There is also information on the Future Vets Scotland Summer Camp, held at SRUC Oatridge Campus.  This camp will provide nearly 60 teenagers will get three days of hands-on experience, and support from all three of Scotland’s vet school admissions teams, during the three-day camp starting on Wednesday 30th July 2025. This camp doesn’t just give young people the opportunity to get a realistic insight to the veterinary world. They can also learn tools and techniques to support them through the challenges of vet life, and beyond, to whatever life choices they make. Suitable for anyone aged 15, 16, 17 or 18 years old.
