The event will take place on Friday mornings throughout March 2025, and we are inviting pupils from across Scotland in S4, S5, and S6 to attend four free virtual sessions.
The event aims to inspire pupils who are considering pursuing STEM subjects in their future education and career. The virtual series is an opportunity to hear from medical researchers, scientists, and industry leaders to learn more about their medical breakthroughs.
This year's Medical Research Scotland Academy is designed to introduce students to some key medical research specialisms associated with STEM subjects, including physiology, microbiology, bioengineering and more. The Academy ensures accessibility for all students across Scotland, streaming live into classrooms each Friday and will also offer a catch-up option that can be viewed on YouTube.
