Our interactive activities and dynamic resources challenge children of all ages and abilities to independently interpret and reflect on our history through contemporary conversations. Empowering them to shape their own views around remembrance, the poppy and its legacy.
Lady Haig’s Poppy Factory is located in Edinburgh and is open all year round to individuals, groups and schools. We are warmly welcoming visitor groups on factory tours to explore the evolution of the poppy, meet its makers and understand the life-changing support it still provides to this day.
Meet the veterans who make all of our poppies for the Scottish Poppy Appeal. They each have an unforgettable personal story and treasured place in the life of every poppy.
Bud is our interactive micro museum, travelling Scotland sharing our archive, veterans’ stories and the poppy’s heritage. Book Bud free for your school or event.
