Barclays LifeSkills - Making the Most of Money

Work Inspiration and Preparation Provided by Barclays LifeSkills with Business in the Community

We live in a world where our attention is constantly being fought for by different adverts and promotions. Whether it be on social media, gaming platforms or generally out and about it’s likely that we come across deals such as ‘buy one get one free’ or a percentage off if you multibuy. But are such deals always worth it? This activity supports students to recognise good value for money.

By the end of the activity pupils will be able to:

• Feel more confident about controlling their money
• Understand why we should all be critical consumers and think carefully about how we use our money
• Understand why making informed decisions will help make the most of the money they have

This is an online activity, please select the relevant link above to get involved.
